Position: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Greater Boston Area
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of machined and vendor-supplied products with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field
- Utilize various inspection tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Interpret blueprint requirements, GD&T, and various specifications
- Operate and program Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software, Hexagon CMMs with PCDMIS software, Optical Comparators, and other inspection devices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as design applications like Solid 3D Models
- Effectively communicate inspection findings to relevant personnel
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with the team
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail
- Understand and adhere to the concepts, processes, and KPIs of an ISO 9001 environment
- Familiarity with calibration activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting machined and vendor-supplied products
- Proficient in using a variety of inspection tools
- Ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and various specifications
- Experience with Zeiss CMMs (Calypso software), Hexagon CMMs (PCDMIS software), Optical Comparators, and other inspection devices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and design software (Solid 3D Models)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret, document, and communicate inspection findings
- Ability to work independently or with minimal assistance
- Capability to perform inspection activities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the concepts, processes, and KPIs of an ISO 9001 environment
- Familiarity with calibration activities
